Our children are our future and that’s why we’re proud supporters of the Thetford Youth Community Group.
Set up by Ben Lacey following a horrific attack on his daughter, the group’s aim is to give 10-16 year olds a safe place to relax, unwind, learn and socialise – whilst teaching them the valuable life lessons of ‘freedom and responsibility’. The group meet each Wednesday, with plans to open on more evenings later this year.
In January 2022 we visited the Thetford Youth Community Group for Maicie’s first #BakeOff event – and there were some awesome entries on the day!
In April 2022, thanks to the awesome generosity of Pierre and the team at Combat Paintball Thetford, the Thetford Youth Community Group were treated to a paintball adventure day.
It was great to see all age groups and abilities communicating and strategising effectively together, with no ‘tech’ in sight!
We brought our videographer along to capture the day… and quite honestly, we didn’t want to leave!
